Patch Test
For the first time, patch test your clients 24 hours before their treatment. Apply 5 shorter extensions trough the lash line per both eyes, and wait for 24 hours. If no irritation, glue can be used in full application. Patch test does not guarantee 100% suitability due to the larger amount of the glue used in full application.
How to Store
Once opened, store in a cool dry room. Keep glue bottle tightly closed in upright position in original foil packaging with silica bag inside. Shelf life is 12 - 13 weeks since the bottle has been opened. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE.
How to Shake
~ Remove glue cap and place lint free tissue to cover top of the bottle. If you shake adhesive with the cap on, it will cause build up of adhesive residue around it, which will prevent bottle from closing tightly; air and humidity will find the way in the bottle and ruin the lash adhesive.
~ Before first use, shake bottle from 30 to 60 seconds. Before each new drop of eyelash adhesive within the same session, shake bottle for 20 seconds to mix the pigment in the glue to maintain right consistency.
How to Achieve Best Results and Long Retention? If humidity is below recommended, use only a tiny amount of adhesive. If humidity is higher than recommended, use slightly more of adhesive.
Before applying eyelash extensions, always cleanse natural lashes well. Use saline solution instead of a primer. Primers contain alcohol which dehydrates eyelashes and affects adhesive setting time.
~ For Classic 1:1 Eyelash Extensions isolate natural eyelash first, dip only the base (2 - 3 mm) of the lash extension you are applying into the glue, remove slowly.
Removing fast, will form beads of adhesive on the lash which will prolong setting time. Do not swipe the glue over the natural lash. Apply lash extension to the natural lash and gently press.
~ For Volume Eyelash Extensions, pick up a tiny bead of adhesive on the base of your 2D – 6D fan. Place and hold for 1 - 2 seconds.
How many full set of lashes in 2 hour application can be done with 1 bottle of JetSet Lash Adhesive?
- In humidity of 10 - 30%, 3 medium drops of glue are required per set. Approximately 54 lash applications.
- In humidity of 30 - 45%, 3 medium drops of glue are required per set. Approximately 32 lash applications.
Amount of adhesive depends on the temperature too. If room temperature is above 25°C, amount of adhesive can double per each set.
Can I use JetSet 2 Sahara in conditions recommended for JetSet?
JetSet 2 Sahara is thinner consistency than JetSet and will require to pick up slightly more adhesive than JetSet.
JetSet 2 Sahara designed to work in lower humidity, it dries much faster than JetSet in the higher humidity.
We don’t recommend to use JetSet 2 Sahara glue in conditions which are suitable for regular JetSet.
JetSet 2 Sahara dries fast in 10 - 30% humidity. If humidity higher than this, it sets immediately and doesn't leave enough time to place extension on natural lash. Such extension will not attach well to the natural lash and good retention cannot be guaranteed with small amount of glue.
